     The Privacy Professor Rebecca has 25+ years of systems engineering, information security, privacy & compliance experience, is CEO of The Privacy Professor® consultancy she founded in 2004, & President of SIMBUS, LLC Information Security, Privacy & Compliance cloud services she founded in 2014. She actually engineered the SIMBUS architecture and associated services, including modules for online employee and contractor information security and privacy training and awareness. She has authored 19 books, the last two of which were privacy books published by ISACA in 2017; one titled, “ISACA Privacy Principles and Program Management Guide” and the other titled, “Implementing a Privacy Protection Program: Using COBIT 5 Enablers With the ISACA Privacy Principles.” Rebecca has contributed to dozens of other books and hundreds of articles. Rebecca has led the U.S. National Institute of Standards & Technology Smart Grid Privacy Subgroup for 7 years, was a co-founder/officer for IEEE P1912 Privacy and Security Architecture for Consumer Wireless Devices Working Group and is on many advisory boards. Rebecca has also been an IAPP certification faculty member since 2010. She was Adjunct Professor for the Norwich University Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance program for 9 years, has received numerous awards and keynoted on 5 continents. She appears regularly on the KCWI23 morning television show, hosts the Voice America radio show “Data Security & Privacy with the Privacy Professor” each Friday afternoon, and is quoted in diverse publications. She also has degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Education. Rebecca has earned the following certifications: CISM, CISA, FIP, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP/US, CISSP, FLMI.  Rebecca is based in Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

    Project Manager Tony S. Oliver is a Senior Business Process Analyst with VSP Vision Care and a freelance consultant with the Penny Wise Consulting Group. Tony has over 15 years of experience in supply/demand planning, pricing, marketing, product development, and project management with stints at Intel, Cisco Systems, AMS (now CGI), and as a project management consultant.  While at Intel, he was recognized as the 2015 Instructor of the Year for his courses on project management, storytelling, and presentation skills. Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Georgetown University, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™) certification from the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), the Six Sigma Lean Professional (SSLP™) certification from the Management & Strategy Institute, and the Competent Communicator (CC) certification from Toastmasters International. He is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French, Catalonian and Portuguese. He is a contributor to the Sacramento Business Journal and Comstock’s Magazine and teaches the “Fundamentals of Project Management” course at the University of California-Davis Extension. Tony lives in Folsom, CA with his wife Kristine and their daughter Penny, and enjoys reading, writing, volunteering, and all things baseball. He traces his inquisitive mind to an early love for reading, a flame which has yet to extinguish.
