    Attorney and Deputy Chief Privacy Officer As Deputy Chief Privacy Officer for the State of South Carolina, Alex White serves as a state subject-matter expert on privacy. His office supports privacy compliance and best practices for over 70 state agencies and entities operating in finance, healthcare, law enforcement, education, and other sectors. Alex is an attorney licensed in Illinois and the District of Columbia and an internationally-experienced speaker on privacy topics. He serves as a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals' Privacy Bar Section Advisory Board and was the founder of the IAPP State, Local, & Municipal Government Affinity Group. On January 10, 2017, he was appointed by former Secretary Jeh Johnson to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee (DPIAC). Prior to joining the State of South Carolina, Alex worked in the insurance industry in emerging issues, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, government affairs, and product development, including drafting and review of cyber liability forms.     Data Privacy Consultant Natalya holds a Master of Legal Studies from Stanford Law School. Prior to studying at Stanford, Natalya received a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and earlier, a Master of Arts in International Economics Relations from the Finance University in Moscow, Russia. Her career has spanned Program Management, Data Privacy, and Legal Compliance. During her time at Google she managed aspects of anonymization of log files for various products and platforms. Later at LinkedIn, she was responsible for crowdsourcing and human judgment projects company-wide. In that capacity Natalya regularly interacted with privacy counsel and advised engineers, product managers, and data-scientists on how to conduct data gathering experiments in compliance with LinkedIn's member privacy policy. In addition to privacy program management, she has general technical program management experience dating back to 2003 and is well versed in issues of labor law compliance and other topics at the interdisciplinary nexus of program management and compliance.
